So a few months ago I was watching Food Network when a show about doughnuts came on. One of the best doughnut shops in America, according to the show (and many other sources), was called VooDoo Doughnut. I thought it sounded interesting and they sure had some unique creations. I heard it was in Portland and got excited because I knew I was going in October and I’ve always wanted to go someplace that was featured on tv! So…of course I convinced my family to go with me ;) When we got there, there was a 40 minute line and was a little bit sketchy but we just had to stay. It was definitely worth it! They have doughtnuts like the bacon maple doughtnut (a maple bar with crisp bacon pieces on top), the dirt doughtnut, which I got (a raised doughtnut with oreo cream frosting and oreo crumbles on top), doughtnuts with tang powder on top, ones with cereal toppings (fruit loops, cap’n crunch), and so many more! Some of the doughnut names were a bit inappropriate (I apologize!) but I just had to post photos! They were priced really well, I thought, for how amazing they tasted and the experience that came along with visiting the shop. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in Downtown Portland :)

I hope I didn’t make your mouth water too much! ;) They may not look totally appetizing, but yummm, they were!
