I’m Allison Bess and this site was designed to showcase my work and to help you get to know me better. I’m a lifestyle photographer located in Arizona. I love photography and I’m passionate about what it can do for people.
I decided to make a post about me so you can get to know me a little better. I want my clients to feel comfortable with me and feel like I’m a friend so hopefully this will help!
Hmm. where to start.
Things I love (in no particular order): family, my puppies (Molly and Mia), love, God, friends, chocolate, good food, reading photo blogs, learning through experience, laughing, reading books that alter my perspective on this world, inner beauty, nature, slowing down to appreciate things, helping others, traveling, working hard, candles, and shoes (of course) :), to name a few!
Not so much: people who rush through life, fake people, dirt and bugs, negativity, stress.
What I want most from my experiences as a photographer: I want for my clients to enjoy themselves! I think people are the most beautiful when they’re just acting themselves and letting their guard down. I wish that every person in the world could have a really good photo of themselves that helps show them how beautiful they are. Even if I help just one person discover beauty that they didn’t realize they had, then I consider my job well done and worthwhile.
