Monthly Archives: September 2010Holly and Jason were married in a beautiful candlelit ceremony at the Inspirador Wedding Venue in Chandler this past Saturday. They had fabulous details and personal touches in their wedding and it really helped to make it unique. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A sneak peek from yesterday. Full blog post will be up early this week. I LOVED her rings. ![]() ![]() I can’t believe it’s already been a month since the first “Day in the Life.” It’s been a hectic month! With my last year of school starting up, moving back down to my apartment, and everything that comes with the beginning of a semester, I’ve been a busy bee! Thankfully Fall wedding and portrait season is starting up now so you’ll have many more blog posts coming in the near future! Here was my day on September 9th, 2010. (Also my dad’s birthday!!) It was a Thursday and since I don’t have classes on Friday, I treat the afternoon like my relaxing weekend afternoon because the real weekends are always full of work! ![]() ![]() 1. My day didn’t start out too well because my phone alarm clock got turned off in the night which made me wake up late! 2. I had my photo class in the School of Art and we were taught how to use the digital printing lab. 3. Once I got home, I made one of my favorite sandwiches for lunch. I know people will think I’m really weird for this but I like peanut butter and pickle sandwiches. I’m not sure where I got it but I remember my mom making them for me when I was little instead of banana and PB like the other kids (I despised bananas.) :) 4. After lunch I pulled out the trusty ole’ vacuum and cleaned the apartment, including doing dishes, tidying, trash taking out, etc. 5. All week I’ve been playing Words With Friends on my iPod determined to beat someone! I just happen to always play against people that rock though so I haven’t had much luck. Today might be the day ;) 6. Since I was jealous of all of my twitter friends talking about their Fall weather and I’m still in the AZ heat, I turned the fan on high and snuggled up for a little nap under my favorite, softest blanket ever from Target! 7. Dinner consisted of Creamy Garden Tomato Soup from Safeway. It’s a tad spicy but good and I can get 2 or 3 meals from one container. 8. I don’t typically watch cop shows, but I loved the girl from “Stick It” and this is her new show! I’ve only seen maybe 2 episodes but I watched it while doing some homework. 9. I ended the day by watching a movie I love! I saw Fame on Broadway in London when I went and it just really hits me and gives me goosebumps because dancing was such a huge part of my life that I miss! Sometimes when I think about my days right now, I wish they were more exciting and feel like they’re boring and no one would want to know about them…then I think about how grateful I am that I get to have days like this…days where I can go to college and come home and have food to eat and a place to clean and a TV to watch. I’m very grateful for this life that I have, even if most days aren’t super exciting. I know that I am blessed. |
