Wrigley Mansion Wedding: Mary & Drew

Mary and Drew had a very simple, lovely wedding that started with a Catholic mass and finished with a lunch at the Wrigley Mansion. It was nice having a day wedding for a change. The part of the mansion that they had their afternoon lunch in was surrounded by windows with a beautiful view. It was such a nice wedding and I’m glad I got to shoot it with One Fine Day!

Completed Goal: Bake a pie

Ok so if you know me, you know I’m not the best cook in the world. It’s not that the food I do make is bad, it’s just that I never actually cook! I was excited to make an apple pie through because I definitely love me some pie. It was a fun experience for Ryan and me and I get to cross something off of my 101 in 1001 list!

Here are some photos of the pie. It wasn’t as gooey on the inside as I would have liked, but it was still delicious!

We soaked the apples in a combination of cinnamon, brown sugar, white sugar, flour, and a hint of vanilla.

Ok the edges didn’t turn out perfectly…but my stomach sure didn’t mind!

101 goals in 1001 days

I’ve always been a goal maker. When I was fourteen, I made a list of 100 things I wanted to do in my life and I’ve been working towards those things I wanted whenever I’ve gotten a chance. A lot of the dreams/wants/goals on that list won’t be complete for years or decades so I decided to make a second list with a shorter time frame.

This second list is about 101 goals and dreams I want to do to expand my business, my experiences, and just to enrich my life. I have 1001 days to complete it and since I finished making the list on July 16th, 2010, I have until April 12, 2013. No matter how many I actually complete by that day doesn’t matter to me as much as the fact that I’ll be doing things that I want to do and that make me happy. I believe written goals are way better than ones that never get written and worked towards. I hope that this list helps bring me more success and happiness in my life! (and helps me get over some fears too)

So here is my list. I’ll try to keep it updated and possibly blog about some of the items once I complete them.
