I just love the fall. It’s so exciting to me. No matter what bad things may happen, I always have this hidden little spirit of excitement during this time of year that can’t be squished. I love pumpkins, leaves, the colder weather, counting down to Thanksgiving and Christmas…it’s all so exciting!! One of my all-time favorite things to do is think about what I’m going to give my loved ones for Christmas. I try soo hard to wait until November to start planning and buying…but I just can’t stop myself! I get so much joy from finding the exact perfect gift to give each person, I can’t even describe how happy it makes me. I love seeing someone’s face lit up when they realize how much time and thought you put into them, their needs, their desires…it’s just incredible. Of course I love getting gifts like this myself, but I could honestly be 100% happy with just receiving nothing because I receive SO much when someone is grateful for something I’ve done. I can’t even put into words how much I love this season :) People walk along the streets humming happy tunes, God is worshiped on so many radio stations, in the stores, on TV through Christmas songs, everyone is bundled up in warm fuzzy clothes and people snuggle by fires, apple cider, candy canes and hot chocolate are everywhere (yum!) ahhh I just LOVE it! So here’s to fall and the wonderful cold front that has hit Arizona this week (highs in the 50s!! crazy!) and the fact that this magical season will be multiplied by 100x in 27 days when Thanksgiving comes!

There are so many things I love in this life. So many people, so many objects, so many experiences. I’m so grateful for all that I have so I decided to make a little post about a few of my favorite things. I didn’t let myself include electronic things or humans in this list (even though my puppies seem like little silent humans to me.) ;) Here are five of my favorites in no order!

1. Heels. I loveee them. I always have. When I was little I couldn’t wait til I was in my 20s so I could just wear heels every single day. If I had a bunch of money to spend on clothes, I just know I would spend wayyy too much on cute shoes! Even though I don’t really have anywhere to wear them to :)

2. Books. If I find a book I love, I can read for days straight. Seriously. I don’t even stop reading to eat, I just multitask! Bathroom breaks and a few hours of sleep are really the only things that stop me when I’m with a good book. I love getting completely immersed and feeling like I’m part of the story. I feel so lucky to have HUGE libraries at my service and that I can get a book whenever I want. What a blessing, right??

3. This third one is a bit childish….but I can’t help it! I love these fruit snacks! I don’t care what shape they are, but they’re just soooo yummy to me :) they’re like a little treat after a hard day and I don’t see my love for them fading anytime soon!

4. and 5. my puppies! Gosh these girls bring so much joy into my life. I’ve had Molly (white) since I was 7, and she is just the best little dog ever. Both of them are. Mia (brown) just turned two a month ago, so she’s still young and playful, but I honestly couldn’t choose which one I loved the most. They are both so amazing and such gifts to my family. I have no clue what I would do without them!! (they both got woken up from naps for these photos, hence them giving me the ‘What the heck are you doing??’ look!) :)
