Stephanie

PinExt Stephanie: Scottsdale Arizona wedding and portrait photographer

This is my friend Stephanie. She is awesome and very talented. She’s going to the art institute to study interior design and she’s doing a great job! She has worked really hard the last year and I know she’s going to be very successful one day! She and I decided to do a little photography and design trade the other day so here are some of the results! I needed help designing part of my new apartment and it’s always good to have pictures of yourself :) especially if you are an aspiring businesswoman! Stephanie had a ton of ideas for me and she really knows her stuff. If anyone out there is looking for a little design assistance, let me know and I’ll put you in contact with her!

Storms

I love rain. Monsoon season is so exciting! Lightning has been lighting up the sky almost every night and it’s so beautiful to me! The other night I sat in my front yard to just enjoy the lightning show and I decided to try and get some shots of it. It was really hard to time because I didn’t know when it would strike but it was a fun challenge :) Here’s one of my favorites!

P.S. I think I need to move to London or Oregon so I can be in the rain more. Definitely.

London

I really want to go to London. The last week or so it’s all I’ve been able to think about. I was there for a few days when I was sixteen and I want to go back so badly it’s almost ridiculous! I’m craving travel and another country a lot. I don’t think I could live there forever but a year or so would be nice. I know it rains constantly but I love the rain and it would be nice to have such a break from the horribly hot weather here. London just seems so perfect. I love the accents, the landmarks, the lifestyles, the people, the history, the culture, the broadway, and just the feeling you get when you’re there. Surprisingly, I also liked the food :) I felt so high spirited and joyful when I was there and part of me wants to go grab my passport and life savings and just take off right now! I want to live somewhere with a real history, one that goes back thousands of years before the New World was even such a place. I think it would make you really feel a part of something bigger and a connection to so many people throughout history, I don’t feel like that is something I can get here right now. It seems like everything here is so shiney and new and people in general are so much more superficial than they would be if they lived in small little buildings that were older than their great great grandparents…who knows though…maybe just one of my silly little dreams.
